Camp, a pickle festival and other ramblings

Camp was wonderful! It was really hot and really dirty but a great experience. Check out our pics on Flickr.

This has been by far on of the busiest few weeks of the year. It feels like life has been a bit of a whirlwind since we came home from camp. We've registered both boys for school and purchased clothes and supplies. We still have some things left to buy for Tyson.

I can't believe that my kids are getting so big. I'm still trying to get used to saying that I have a third grader. It makes me a little sad that Tyson is starting school too. It seems like I just brought them both home from the hospital. Time really does fly.

Last weekend we were able to check out the St. Joe Pickle Festival. It was fun! They really had some strange fare though. We did try the fried pickles but opted to omit the pickle ice cream from our must try list. I love visiting the small towns and festivals around where we live. A couple of my personal favorites are coming up. Grabill Fair and Johnny Appleseed.

I should have known if they had a pickel festival you would know about it and go to it. I had to laugh to myself when I read the blog today. I will check out you pictures today also.

OH, oh...... tell me when you're going to the Grabill fair..... I LOVE that one! DOn't forget about the Apple Festival in Kendallville..... that one's my favorite. It's like Johnny Appleseed, but bigger and not as crowded.
