An Update

UPDATE:Just wanted to let everyone know that Brock had the best first day of second grade ever! He says his teacher is really nice and likes his classroom. He was thrilled to find out that he has gym twice a week. There are a lot of kids in his class he knew from last year. I think this is year is going to be an exciting adventure!

Awesome! I'm so glad to hear that his first day went well! I would be more than pissed, however, to learn that I would have gym TWICE a week! LOL!!! :) I was always one of those girls who claimed that I got my period every three days so that I wouldn't have to do anything. :D :D Seriously, I wish the best for Brock this year.

Isn't it exciting when they get home from school. I think I get more excited to hear about their day than they are to tell me. This year I have a 4th grader and a 1st grader and in a few weeks Asher will start am pre-school. Every time we go to take his brothers to school or pick them up, he wants to go so badly. Does your youngest react that way? I hope they all still love school in jr.and sr. high!!!lol

I'm so happy for Brock! Sammy loved her teacher too. It's so neat that they Love school at this age. Hopefully Brock and Sammy will keep that *love*, unlike my boys....lol. I'm with Lisanne on the gym thing. I hated that class too, everybody was more athletic than me, believe it or not I was sooo shy back then (but I hid it well). Although being the *bad girl* I was, I didn't fake a period, I just flat out refused to participate. I'm so glad my kids don't have those insecurities.
